For non agricultural use, OSHA, ASAE, SAE, and ANSI standards REQUIRE the use of chain guards, deflectors, or solid skirt/bands at all times. TEBBEN ENTERPRISES also strongly recommends the use of one of these guarding systems for agricultural purposes as well as if there are persons, animals, roadways or structures within 100 yards of the mowing operation.
